My View From the Porch

My view from the porch reminds me that we have much, much more than we deserve. It may not be the biggest and best but it is a reminder of God’s faithfulness to family who has had their fair share of unfaithfulness to Him with choices and sin and life.

God’s persistence to pursue our hearts and remain faithful when we are not is an incredible picture of who He really is to us.

If that’s you today and you’ve been unfaithful to the Lord or lost in your own path and choices, COME HOME.

Truly He is a God who will see you coming and throw His arms wide open to embrace you! He is faithful to keep calling us by name even when we are far away. Don’t let shame keep you from your return, and your destiny.

He is good, and kind, and He has a plan for your life that is still valid. If you’re prone to wander, He’s leaving the ninety-nine looking for the one today…..so if that’s you, stop running and come home.

My view from the porch tells me to remember I am loved and nothing will ever change that. He loves us too much to let us stay lost.
